05 / Good To Know

Travel, Deposits & Booking.

Travel

Free within 45 miles of Sylvania / Toledo, Ohio. Beyond that, travel is billed at $1 per mile, one way. That covers Ann Arbor, Detroit's south side, Findlay and Fremont with no travel charge at all.

Deposit

A 25% deposit holds your date and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due the day of your event, before drawing begins. Venmo, Zelle, check or card all work.

Cancellations

Life happens, and reschedules are always welcome with notice. If an event is cancelled within 14 days of the date, the full balance is due, since that date is held exclusively for you.

Questions People Ask.

How many people can you draw per hour?

Black and white runs about 10 to 15 guests an hour. Full color is more detailed and runs about 6 to 9 an hour. For a big guest list in a short window, black and white keeps the line moving. For a smaller, more intimate event, color makes a stronger keepsake.

What kind of events do you do?

Weddings and receptions, corporate parties and holiday events, birthdays, retirements, school and church events, and fundraisers. If it has people in one room for a couple hours, it works.

Do you need anything from us?

Just a table, a chair, and a bit of space near where guests are mingling. I bring my own paper, pens and easel. For digital sessions I'll also need a table for my monitor and a nearby outlet. We'll go over the exact setup when we lock in your event details.

How does the digital option work?

I draw on a tablet with an external monitor facing your guests, so everyone can watch the drawing happen in real time. Every drawing is uploaded to a private online gallery guests can download from after the event. If you'd like instant prints handed out on the spot too, that's available as an add-on.

Can we add more hours the day of the event?

Yes, if the schedule allows. Extra time is billed at the same hourly rate, rounded up to the next half hour.

What if we have a really big guest list?

I can bring in additional artists for larger events so the line keeps moving. Let me know your expected guest count when you reach out and I'll recommend how many artists and hours you'll need.

How do we book?

Send your event date, location and guest count through the contact form. I'll confirm availability and pricing, and your date is held once the deposit is paid.
